The Louisa County Department of Fire and Emergency Services received notification that it is the recipient of a $705,000 grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The grant funded the replacement of outdated self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) on all volunteer and career fire equipment in Louisa County. The county opened the bid process with MSA The Safety Company being the best offer. We have since recieved all (SCBA's) and on Jan 18th personnel placed them on the apparatus.
